Meet at Birch Point State Park in South Thomaston, Maine at 9:00am. After about a half an hour getting into gear, and safety briefing, we will be on our way on the little over two mile journey across Muscle Ridge to our lunch destination, Birch Island. After the provided lunch we will do some “gunkholing,” or paddling into the nooks and crannies on Maine islands like Dix, High, and Nettle. We would then return to Birch Point Beach. We will return by two o’clock with plenty of time for you to have a relaxed afternoon followed by an epicurean treat at one of our local restaurants.
All kayaking gear provided. Participants provide hats, sun block, water bottles, cameras, sunglasses, and light jackets. Adventurers should wear bathing suits and water shoes. Lunch and snack provided. Prices are person, two person minimum.
