This all-day trip will start with traveling on a Maine State Ferry (or charter boat) to Maine Island for exploration of the natural history, and local Maine history. Enjoy a picnic lunch with time to explore, swim, and walk around the island. Bring your camera too! You will come back with a new appreciation for Maine’s marine wilderness preserved by Maine’s Islands.
