Experience the beauty and serenity of Maine’s wilderness with a Registered Maine Sea Kayak Guide.
Take advantage of the Maine Island Trail for a night of camping on beautiful Penobscot Bay or Muscongus Bay. To get to our camp site, we will kayak across the bay to get there. So prior sea kayaking experience is required for this trip. Departure and arrival locations to be determined based on customer collaboration. These trips can be moderately strenuous to strenuous. Participates will have to pitch in shuttling gear both in kayaks, as well as well as on land. "Leave No Trace" guidelines require packing in/packing out all waste.
All kayaking and safety gear included. Participants without required gear will not be allowed to participate and will not be refunded.
$525 per person, two person minimum

What to Bring:
Skill requirement: Moderate to strenuous sea kayaking for a period of about 4-6 hours per day, or about 5-4 miles per day. 16 year olds and under require parental supervision.
What to Bring:
- Appropriate clothing for weather and activity
- Loose fitting, quick drying pants, or shorts
- Rain gear/windbreaker
- Long sleeve shirt (wool or synthetic)
- Baseball cap, or sun hat
- Water shoes, or shoes that can get wet
- 2 water bottles, min 750ml each
- Personal sunscreen & bug repellent
- Sunglasses (polarized sunglasses work best when on the water.)
- Day pack
- Bandana
- Camera or phone
- Sleeping bags
- Sleeping pads
- Headlamp
- Compass, guide book of the area & maps
- First aid kit
- Matches
- Binoculars
- Extra batteries and extra cell phone charger
- Necessary kayaking equipment
