Camden Hills Day Hikes

Forest Bathing, Sunrise, or Bird Hike - Two  Hour

Tour Description
Experience the beauty and serenity of Maine’s wilderness with a Registered Maine Recreational Guide.


2-hour sunrise, nature-photo hike in the Camden Hills State park, or other location in the Camden-Rockport area identifying the local plants, trees, birds, animals. Visit great locations to take photos, places to learn about flora and fauna, plus local history. Provide your own transportation to and from the trail head. Water bottle required, and sturdy walking shoes recommended.

$65 per person, two person minimum. Note: State Park fee +/- $10 for some hikes.
  • Event Location: Location will be provided by Guide during booking process. Sent via Maps app.
    What to Bring:
    • Appropriate clothing for weather and activity
    • Loose fitting, quick drying pants, or shorts
    • Rain Gear - acts as windbreaker
    • Long sleeve shirt, wool or synthetic
    • baseball cap, or other hat
    • Sturdy walking shoes
    • One water bottle, min 750ml
    • Personal sunscreen & bug repellent
    • 1 Headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries
    • Hat and sunglasses (Polarized sun glasses work best when on the water.)
    Optional:
    • 1 Day pack
    • Bandana
    What is provided by Guide:
    • Compass, guide book of the area & maps
    •  First aid kit
    • Matches
    • Binoculars
    • Emergency sleeping bag and other emergency gear
    • Extra batteries and extra cell phone charger
    Skill requirement:  Walking uphill and down for a period of about 90 minutes.  Must be at least 12 years old, 16 years old and under require parental supervision.
    Physical requirements: Must be able to walk over rough terrain for 90 minutes, for about 1-2 miles.

Day Hike in the Camden Hills  - Moderate Hike - Four Hours

Tour Description
Experience the beauty and serenity of Maine’s wilderness with a Registered Maine Recreational Guide.


4-hour hike - Hike up Maiden’s Cliff, Mt. Battie, Bald Rock, or Bald Mountain. Snacks included. Great vistas, moderate difficulty. Provide your own transportation to and from the trail head. Water bottle and sturdy hiking shoes required.
$125 per person, two person minimum, Note: State Park fee +/-$10 for some hikes.

Day Hike in the Camden Hills - Strenuous - Six Hours

Tour Description

Experience the beauty and serenity of Maine’s wilderness with Registered Maine Recreational Guide.

6-hour hike - Hike from the State Park entrance in Lincolnville, through the park along the access road to Camden. Bag a peak or two along the way, depending on level of challenge desired. Peaks could include Zeke’s Lookout, Mount Megunticook, Mount Battie, or Bald Rock. Lunch provided. Provide your own transportation to and from the trail head. Water bottle and sturdy hiking shoes required.

$185 per person, two person minimum. Note: State Park fee +/-$10 may apply.
