Acadia Hikes

Six Hour Acadia Strenuous Hike

Tour Description

Experience the beauty and serenity of Maine’s wilderness with a registered Maine Recreational Guide.


Six-hour hike – Moderate or Strenuous - Depart early morning for an early morning arrival at the park. Travel the loop road to one of many hikes in the park. Enjoy one of the most cherished national parks in the entire country, Acadia National Park. Beautiful views of surrounding bays and mountains. Lunch and snacks provided. Water bottle and sturdy hiking shoes required.

$295 Per Person, two person Minimum. Note: Does not include park fees +/-$25.
  • Event Location: Location will be provided by Guide during booking process. Sent via Maps app.
    What to Bring:
    • Appropriate clothing for weather and activity
    • Loose fitting, quick drying pants, or shorts
    • Rain Gear - acts as windbreaker
    • Long sleeve shirt, wool or synthetic
    • baseball cap, or other hat
    • Sturdy walking shoes
    • Two water bottles, min 750ml
    • Personal sunscreen & bug repellent
    • 1 Headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries
    • Hat and sunglasses (Polarized sun glasses work best when on the water.)
    • Camera or phone
    Optional:
    • 1 Day pack
    • Bandana
    What is provided by Guide:
    • Compass, guide book of the area & maps
    •  First aid kit
    • Matches
    • Binoculars
    • Emergency sleeping bag and other emergency gear
    • Extra batteries and extra cell phone charger
    Skill requirement:  Walking uphill and down for a period of about 5-6 hours.  Must be at least 12 years old, 16 years old and under require parental supervision.
    Physical requirements: Must be able to walk over rough terrain for 5-6 hours, for about 6 miles.

Three Hour Sunrise or Sunset Hike Up Cadillac Mountain

Tour Description
Experience the beauty and serenity of Maine’s wilderness with a registered Maine Recreational Guide.


Bring your headlamps as we set out for an early morning adventure hiking up Cadillac Mountain to see the first sunrise in the entire country.  Snacks are provided. Provide your own transportation. I will meet you at the trail head. Headlamps and water bottles for every participant required.  Water Bottles and sturdy shoes required. 

$210 per person, two person minimum.  Note: Does not including park fees +/-$25
